In this workshop Eric Flohr Reynolds will demonstrate and explain the basic signal flow and structure of an analog synthesizer, using the Korg Minilogue. The focus will be on patch programming and sound design with the idea that learning how adjusting the basic controls will allow you to drastically change the sound. While we’ll focus primarily on the Minilogue, most of the concepts and techniques will be applicable to almost any other synthesizer be they analog, digital, hardware, or software.
This workshop is intended for beginners who have never used a synth before, or for musicians who have used synths/keyboards/software but have never designed their own sounds and want to learn more.
